Coach Jess

Jess has been part of the Delaware Fit Factory community since 2019, when she showed up for Murph, loved the challenge, and quickly realized she had found her people. Unlike many athletes who come from years of organized sports, Jess did not grow up with an athletic background. After having her two kids, she began running, completed a half marathon, trained for a Spartan race, and eventually found CrossFit as a way to push herself, get stronger, and build a healthier life.

Today, Jess is a CrossFit coach and the lead programmer for Delaware Fit Factory. She writes our strength cycles, gymnastics progressions, MetCons, and daily workouts with our members, space, equipment, and community in mind. Her goal is to create workouts that are challenging, effective, scalable, and fun for every athlete—from brand new beginners to longtime competitors.

As a coach, Jess is passionate about effort over ego. She doesn’t care whether someone is lifting 5 pounds or 500 pounds—she wants to see people show up, work hard, and leave feeling proud of what they accomplished. She loves watching members build confidence, celebrate wins, and discover what their bodies are capable of.

Jess believes fitness is a gift and that a strong, healthy body can change the way people show up in every area of life. Whether she’s coaching a class, writing programming, or cheering someone through a tough workout, her mission is to help members move well, train hard, and feel better every day.
